    The Clarets’ Claret
Mid-claret colour. Attractive aroma with prominent plum / blackberry fruit and a subtle rose petal floral note. Merlot dominates the character of the wine at this stage. No obvious sign of new oak. Palate medium to full in body with lots of youthful ripe fruit; medium to low acidity and rich, soft tannins. Good length. Leathery aromas developed after 2 to 3 hours of opening. Typical of the opulent 2015 vintage and drinking very well now.
