This is the result of a brilliant partnership between English wine importers David Rowledge and Peter Moorhouse and their winemaking business partner Boris Kovac. The 2015 vintage has created something really special, with great structure, multiple layers of fruit and complex minerality. Light gold, with lovely lifted citrus, floral and honeyed notes, creamy and rich on the palate, balanced with a good mineral backbone.
Serve at 8c. Great with fish (particularly sea bass or monkfish), chicken (roasted or with a rich creamy or mushroom sauce), or with moderately spicy Asian food – and fabulous to drink on its own.

Superb aroma of apricot essence, honeysuckle and citrus fruit. On the palate the crisp, fresh acidity from the Vermentino is perfectly balanced by the broader-textured character of Viognier and Chardonnay. The subtle use of oak adds an extra dimension but is by no means intrusive. Long finish.

On the nose, sweet spices, cinnamon, nutmeg (indicating new oak?), white floral notes (jasmine, chamomile), peach yogurt, clementine, – a very welcoming, inviting but complex nose.
On the palate, less ripe, more fresh, delicious, very moreish with good acidity and length.

Pale-medium gold. Dusty mineral, some touches of almond-nut and gentle wood-spice, over subtle, Vermentino-led fruit character – wax, dried thyme and lemon rind. Some peach and apricot richness from the Viognier and Chardonnay emerges. Appealing apricot and ripe lemon palate attack is followed up by savouriness of thyme, rocky minerality and a saline tang. Bright acidity and well-managed phenolics. Touch of vanilla at the finish. Plenty to like in this medium-long to long, characterful wine
Demetri Walters MW ~ Berry Bros & Rudd (store manager) –
A delicate apricot bouquet leads to an expansive, increasingly mouth filling but altogether taut, fresh and restrained palate of peach fromage frais, lemon, honey comb and a hint of oak spice.
Despite the underlying light oak complexity, there’s a lovely tension here. A characterful wine with mounting mid-palate weight and a lengthy finish. Terrific poise.

A lovely wine. Quite a light delicately spiced nose with ripe stoned fruits and hints of chamomile. Great body and length with a velvety mouthfeel and subtle oak.
Delicious wine which we enjoyed on its own. our only issue was we only had one bottle to enjoy. Will be sure to pick up extras next time and will also be recommending to our friends!

This is a very well crafted wine, for viognier fans there is much to enjoy, coupled with a minerality which gives it a superb and clean finish. I love it!’
